New vendors are set to make their debut at the CNE this year, and they’ll be offering all kinds of fun fair food.
Over 1.6 million people attend the CNE each year, and the wacky food is a huge part of the attraction of the annual summer event. The Ex has made waves in the past for food items like ketchup and mustard ice cream, mac n’ cheese lemonade and pickle cotton candy.
Exciting new additions to the food lineup at the Ex include Egg Club, O-Mochi and Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro. Egg Club serves egg sandwiches made with Japanese milk bread, O-Mochi will be serving an exclusive new flavour of their mochi donuts, and Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro is an Indian fine dining restaurant in Mississauga. These vendors will all be located in the CNE Food Building.
Other new vendors include Greekery Bakery, Los Vietnamita, Tut’s Egyptian Street Food and Fry-R Truck, which is an actual fire truck converted into a food truck. These vendors can all be found outdoors.
Bandshell Park will once again play host to Ribfest, which will feature new and returning vendors like Randy’s Halal Ribs, What A Jerk, Slow Jam, PK Concessions and BBQ Boyzz.
