A new pizza restaurant that’s semi-hidden inside a Toronto hotel has just softly opened its doors right before the holidays.

Raffaella isn’t exactly a totally new presence at Annex Hotel. They’ve popped up as a concept within the hotel before, but now they’ve blossomed into a fully formed restaurant with a full menu.

Raffaella should be offering a selection of pizzas for $23 across the board, with options including Margherita, pepperoni, vodka sauce and truffle mushroom. They should also have a variety called “The Annex” with spicy sausage, whipped ricotta, roasted red peppers and hot honey, and the “French Fig” with whipped ricotta, garlic oil, fresh figs, walnuts, hot honey and lemon zest.

They’ll also have a selection of salads and antipasti like arancini and warm olives, as well as primi like vodka chicken parm, spicy mussel pasta and lasagna bolognese.

Of course, their menu will be rounded out by a tight selection of beer, wine, classic cocktails and desserts.

“Born from the vision of founder Simon Vickerson, Raffaella is a family style Italian restaurant in The Annex Hotel,” reads the description of Raffaella on Resy. “We serve nostalgic Italian dishes with parts of her legendary recipes that remind you of home.”

Limited reservations are now available at Raffaella though they will close for the holidays, with a grand opening scheduled for Jan. 10.
