A fancy new hotel and the restaurant inside just opened its doors this week, giving people visiting Toronto a new place to stay and everyone in the city a new place to eat.

Muse is a new French-inspired bistro and bar serving breakfast, brunch and dinner located inside the TOOR Hotel.

Expect steakhouse-bistro vibes with lots of classics on the menu deeply rooted in the traditions of hotel cuisine and fine dining.

Starters include options like steak tartare, charcuterie, baked brie, French onion soup and mussels. For entrees, there are heavy hitters like a striploin with peppercorn sauce, cassoulet, truffle mushroom risotto and roasted sea bass.

Construct a full feast by opting for some duck fat potatoes, truffle fries or roasted veggies on the side. To finish, there’s fancy cheese and creme brulee. Muse also has a happy hour with oysters and deals on lots of their appetizers.

But wait, there’s more. For breakfast, there are options like Eggs Benedict, omelettes, avocado toast and truffle scrambled eggs.

The space has a comfortable and serene look to it with lots of warm, natural tones, with touches of green and gold as well as luxurious textures to bring out the bistro vibe. Spanning two levels, the restaurant measures over 2,500 square feet.

Muse is now open inside the TOOR Hotel at 203 Jarvis St.
