If you’re a Swiftie who has not yet been able to score tickets to the Eras Tour, note that you can attend another unique Taylor Swift event in Oakville this year.

Towne Square will soon play host to another Silent Disco that will feature the music of Swift, the incredibly popular singer/songwriter who is headlining one of the most in-demand concert tours in recent history.

Another Swift-themed silent disco sold out last year, so if you missed that one, be sure to be at your computer and ready to grab tickets when they go on sale on Feb. 15.

According to the Downtown Oakville BIA’s website, the silent disco, which invites attendees to dance to music while wearing headphones, is set to take place on March 16 and 17 in Oakville’s Towne Square (94 George St.).

The party might be the next best thing for Swifties who are still hoping to lock down much-coveted tickets for the musician’s Eras Tour, which is slated to hit Toronto this fall.

“Slip on your headphones and immerse yourself in an auditory journey featuring the timeless hits of Taylor Swift while you  ‘Fearless’-ly flaunt your dance moves,” the event’s website reads.

“Whether you’ve been a devoted fan or are just seeking a night of sheer fun, this event promises an experience you’ll be raving about.”

Once tickets go on sale, reservations can be made here for several one-hour timeslots.

In recent months, Swift’s Eras Tour has made headlines for the high prices fans have been willing to pay to see the star perform live.

The tour will make its way to Canada later this year with six nights booked at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. The singer-songwriter will perform Nov. 14 to 16, and Nov. 21 to 23, 2024.

Rogers Communications, which is a presenting sponsor, says the “Cruel Summer” singer is the first artist to perform six nights at the stadium in a single tour.
