A global chocolate cafe has swung open the doors of their first ever location in Canada.

The Chocolate Room just opened their first Canadian location in Toronto, and it’s a haven for lovers of all things chocolatey.

The concept was founded by Vatsal and Dharti Patel in Australia in 2006, but quickly expanded to India in 2007. They now have over 400 locations in 11 countries around the world.

The Chocolate Room’s chocolate-centric menu includes items like Belgian chocolate, hot chocolate, chocolate fondue, waffles, pastries, pancakes, chocolate bombs, sundaes and shakes. They also do have some non-chocolate items like fruit toast and tea, and the new Toronto location should also be serving other food like burgers and pizza with hundreds of items to choose from.

The look of the Toronto location matches the menu with lots of chocolate brown hues, plus bold graphics, lighting and comfy seating.

Until Feb. 17, they’re offering grand opening deals like special pricing on certain items and 20 per cent off orders over $20.

The Chocolate Room’s first Canadian location is now open at 2652 Islington Ave.
