A Toronto Italian restaurant has quietly closed its doors, hoping to reopen in a new location.
Noce was known for its traditional Italian fare including pasta and wood-fired pizzas. Located right across the street from Trinity Bellwoods, diners ate in a classy and intimate space.
Now, the restaurant’s website simply reads “Temporarily Closed” with a note saying “We will keep you posted on reopening date.”
Their last post on Instagram was in June 2024, advertising reservations for Father’s Day.
Noce owner Elena Morelli tells YourCityWithIN.com that Noce has now closed on Queen Street, but that they are hoping to reopen in a new location. She says they are looking at different options and plan on reopening in 2025.
All is not lost, though: if you’re missing Noce while it’s closed, you can always check out Morelli’s other restaurant Aria right next to Scotiabank Arena.
Aria offers very similar cuisine to Noce such as arancini, fritto misto, burrata and pasta.
