Jonas Brothers Christmas movie is being shot in Toronto

The Jonas Brothers are getting ready to deck the halls—not with a Christmas album, but with a brand-new festive movie and filming is happening in Toronto.
It looks like Netflix’s A Merry Little Ex-Mas isn’t the only holiday movie being filmed in Ontario with a star-studded cast. The Jonas Brothers are returning to the screen in an upcoming project that marks their return to Disney, where they first rose to fame in the early 2000s.
The film has been listed under different names across platforms. IMDb refers to it as: Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie, while Toronto.ca lists the working title as “Get Us Home.” Whether this is just a placeholder or a hint at the final name remains to be seen, but the movie is set to arrive just in time for the 2025 holiday season.
The story follows Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas as they navigate a series of unexpected obstacles while trying to travel from London to New York in time for Christmas—a setup that hints at a mix of chaos, adventure and some light-hearted comedy.
According to Toronto.ca, filming began on Jan. 13, 2025, at Three Brothers TV Productions Inc., located at 777 Kipling Ave.
Production is expected to wrap by Feb. 21, 2025. While it’s unclear if additional locations in Ontario will be used, Toronto has served as the film’s primary base.
The Jonas Brothers are not just starring in the movie but are also serving as producers alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan.
The film is directed by Jessica Yu (Quiz Lady, Only Murders in the Building) and written by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger (This Is Us and Love, Simon).
Adding to the holiday magic, Grammy-nominated songwriter Justin Tranter—known for working with Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez—will compose original music for the film.
Ahead of filming, Disney+ unveiled the project with a playful promo paying tribute to Love Actually.
In the clip, the brothers mimic the film’s famous cue card scene, starting with Joe introducing the project—before Nick abruptly corrects him. “No, don’t say it! The whole point is you don’t say it—you let them read.” With an orchestral version of Silent Night playing in the background, the Jonas Brothers reveal that their next big project is, in fact, a Christmas movie.
So far, the only other confirmed cast member is Chloe Bennet (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), playing a character named Lucy.
On Feb. 4, the Jonas Brothers made a surprise appearance at a Camp Rock trivia night at Hemingway’s Restaurant and Bar in Toronto.
While it seemed like a random fan interaction, given their filming schedule, it appears to have been a subtle nod to their Disney past—perhaps even a well-planned Easter egg for longtime fans.
Though an official release date hasn’t been announced, this festive feature is shaping up to be a must-watch for fans of holiday comedies, original music and the Jonas Brothers.
