Louanne’s Famous Fries will close landmark pink trailer while a new home is found

A snag has affected the plans of Louanne’s Famous Fries to move down Trafalgar Rd. to a new home in Halton Hills.

“Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, we are no longer able to go to 9346 Trafalgar Rd.,” said Melissa Keith, the owner of Louanne’s Famous Fries, following last week’s inhalton.com article promoting the move.

“We will be closed temporarily until we can find a new location.”

Until this closure, Louanne’s has been located in a bright pink trailer at located at 9989 Trafalgar Rd., at 10 Side Rd., in Georgetown, and had become something of a local landmark.

Louanne’s Famous Fries is well known in the area for reasonably priced comfort food like burgers, hotdogs, sausages, peameal, chicken fingers, fries, onion rings, and poutine.
