If you live west of Hamilton, you don’t have to travel east to enjoy a food and restaurant festival that lets you sample an array of prix-fixe menus for less.

While Toronto might be known for its annual Winterlicious festival, it appears another city known for its restaurant scene is making winter a little warmer with a weeks-long Flavours of Niagara event. The festival, which kicked off today (Feb. 10), will run until March 9 and will offer residents and visitors the chance to explore more than 20 restaurants in Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake and St. Catharines.

According to the event’s website, diners can choose to eat at a range of restaurants offering prix-fixe lunch and dinner menus between $30 and $90.

Participating restos include Balti Indian Cuisine, Four Brothers Cucina, AG Inspired Cuisine, Hard Rock Cafe, Kitchen 76 at Two Sisters Winery, Tide & Vine Oyster House, Table Rock House Restaurant, Watermark Fallsview Dining, Fat Rabbit (which recently received a Michelin Guide recommendation), Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen, Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant, Ponte Vecchio, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, STK Fallsview Steakhouse, Weinkeller Restaurant and more.

The event also encourages people to book wine tastings at a number of Niagara wineries, including Konzelmann Estate Winery, Peller Estates Winery and Restaurant, Trius Winery and more.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to visit those restaurants you’ve always wanted to try,” the festival’s website says.

“From cherished classics to bold fusion creations, there’s something to delight every palate and make unforgettable dining experiences.”
