A new No Frills location is opening in downtown Toronto.
This week, just off the corner of College and Ossington, signage went up for a new No Frills location in the Little Italy neighborhood.
The grocery chain — owned by Loblaw Companies Ltd — features numerous locations throughout the GTA and is a preferred location for many city residents due to its discount price platform.
Those who frequent the area may remember seeing advertisements for a new Pusateri’s on the side of the same building over the last year.
However, last summer, numerous reports cited that the grocery chain, which built its enterprise on luxury Italian produce and ingredients, had filed for bankruptcy, causing several storefronts to shutter their doors.
With prominent signage and advertisements already up, one can only anticipate that the new No Frills location that is taking over, will likely be opening its doors this spring.
