The space that was once home to a popular Mediterranean restaurant didn’t stay empty for long.

Recently, Nola Eatery and Bar, a resto specializing in “an exciting fusion of Italian and French cuisine,” opened inside the Queen Street East spot that was once home to CrowdedHouse.

The owners of CrowdedHouse announced they were closing the restaurant after seven years in business last month

The new Leslieville restaurant, which will celebrate its grand opening tomorrow (Nov. 21), offers a range of European staples, including beef tartare, calamari, focaccia burrata, chicken wings, pasta (such as mushroom and goat cheese risotto, crab agnolotti and chicken penne pesto), rib-eye steak, a house-made burger and more.

The family-owned restaurant also offers a kid’s menu.

As for libations, the resto offers wine (by the glass and bottle), cocktails, beer and spirits.

On the restaurant’s website, the owners say the new dining destination is suitable for people looking to enjoy a casual meal or celebrate a special occasion.

“Our warm and inviting atmosphere is perfect for any occasion, whether you’re enjoying a romantic dinner, a lively night out with friends, or a cozy family gathering,” the website reads.

“Our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional service, ensuring that every visit feels special.”

Reservations can be made online.
