New restaurant openings in Toronto for the week of March 23 to 29

As March comes to an end, restaurant owners were able to squeeze in some more new openings in Toronto this month. This week, we welcomed new spots for fried chicken and Indian food.
Here are restaurants that opened this week in Toronto.
The end of the month brings the opening of this fried chicken restaurant in Kensington Market. They’ll also serve wraps, tacos and salads. It’s taking over the former Topgun burgers space, and if you’re looking for your favourite burgers, head over to Knockout Chicken in Kensington where they’re now serving.
This Indian restaurant with a location in California just opened a spot in Toronto, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on South Indian cuisine. Expect curries, stews, soups and sambar.
