A new sports bar has now popped up in the space where a popular brunch restaurant closed not too long ago.
Farmhouse Tavern took up residence for a long time at a corner spot on Dupont that’s now home to sports bar The Wedge.
Farmhouse was known for its farm-to-table culinary philosophy, beloved brunches and Caesars, and it seems that while the Tavern may be gone, The Wedge will still be a great place to go for comfort food.
The Wedge’s website simply reads, “sports, drinks, food,” so the restaurant seems like a great atmosphere for having a few beers and bites while taking in a game. The space has a chill sports bar look with graffiti all over the walls.
The menu consists of apps like poutine, wings, spinach artichoke dips, sloppy joe sliders and nachos, along with mains such as burgers, sandwiches, parm crusted chicken Caesar salad and steak with fries and onion rings.
The Wedge is now open at 1627 Dupont St.
