Starbucks fans in Milton who were sad to see the Kennedy Circle location close its doors earlier this year might be happy to hear that the cafe has opened a new store nearby.
This week, a new Starbucks store with a drive-thru opened at 950 Louis St. Laurent.
“It is a full café with a drive-thru and we are excited to be a part of this community, especially just in time for our new holiday menu and cups, which launched in-stores yesterday,” a Starbucks representative told inhalton.com in an email.
The store has taken shape in a new commercial development located at Louis St. Laurent and Thompson Road South. The Fieldgate plaza, which is also bordered by the Kennedy Circle extension, a lot that will be home to a future school and a future residential development, is home to Ontario’s 100th FreshCo location.
The highly-anticipated grocery store opened its doors earlier this fall.
Starbucks, a Seattle-born coffee chain, operates well over 30,000 locations worldwide.
The brand’s holiday menu, which launched on Nov. 2, features sugar cookie oat lattes, caramel brulee lattes, peppermint mochas and the new iced gingerbread oat chai.
