Oscar winning director Guillermo del Toro spotted in popular Toronto brunch spot

Academy Award-winning film director Guillermo del Toro has been voyaging across east Toronto this week as he recently posted from a celebrated Leslieville snack bar.
In a post to X (formerly Twitter), the filmmaker posted an image alongside a caption endorsing the Hastings Snack Bar, a beloved neighbourhood nook that provides authentic Polish cuisine in Toronto’s east end.

Del Toro — known to split his time between Toronto and Los Angeles — was in town this week doing a Q&A at the Revue Cinema in Roncesvalles, in which all event proceeds went towards renovations for the location.
