A Burlington music festival that showcases local talent has been postponed an additional year due to the pandemic. On August 6, the annual festival known as BURLY CALLING shared the news on social media.

‘Hey all, it pains us to say that due to the volatile nature of the times, we will be postponing Burly Calling until the Spring. Apologies to all. Everyone affected is invited to join us in 2022. We hope your schedules will permit. Love, Ben, Brad & Jesse.’

Less than a month before, on July 17, a save the date post was shared to the festival’s Facebook account suggesting that the show would run on Sept. 18.

The festival, which displays the area’s up and coming musicians, typically runs out of multiple venues across the city of Burlington.

Throughout the years, bands like Silverstein, Rarity, The Lucky Ones, Grade, Seaway, The Penske File and WALK OFF THE EARTH have all performed alongside a large array of other musical guests of different genres.
