A bakery known for their sourdough that draws long lines at their first Toronto location is now opening a second one.

Before there was a location of Dear Grain in Toronto, the bakery started out in Hamilton. They now have a Hamilton location on Vine and a Toronto location on Ossington that’s often bustling thanks to the heavy foot traffic in the area.

The Toronto location of Dear Grain sells all their signature breads and baked goods plus a coffee menu, and also stocks all kinds of other pantry staples and goodies like cheeses, tinned fish and even wine.

Recently, the bakery posted a photo of a new storefront where there next Toronto location will be opening, and it didn’t take long for locals passing by to identify the new neighbourhood for the store.

Signs are up for the new location of Dear Grain on Roncesvalles, advertising that they’re hiring for the new store and that it should be opening around spring 2025.

The new Dear Grain shop will take up residence where a Tim Hortons used to be at 175 Roncesvalles Ave.
