A popular chip brand has teamed up with a well-known chef to open two tasting windows, one in Vancouver and one in Toronto.

Today, Tostitos announced that its tasting windows, created in collaboration with Chef Susur Lee, will be open from now until May 26 in Toronto and June 5-9 in Vancouver.

The Toronto window is located at 147 Spadina Ave.

Inspired by the local flavours of Toronto and Vancouver, Lee, the celebrity chef behind Lee and Lee Kitchen in Toronto, has created a series of “bites” using Tostitos tortilla chips as the base. According to a news release, the windows are meant to evoke images of wine windows in Florence, Italy.

Upon arrival, guests will walk up to the window and ring a bell to receive a three-bite flight free of charge.

Diners are encouraged to press the “chip in” button to automatically generate a donation to Second Harvest, an organization that redistributes surplus food to people in need. According to a news release, Tostitos will donate $1, to a maximum of $50,000, to the organization.

“As a chef, a lot of my inspiration comes from different cultures and tastes. When Tostitos asked me to create dips inspired by Toronto and Vancouver, I was beyond excited to get started in the kitchen,” Lee said in a statement.

“I love the diversity of Canada and leaned into that for each of these recipes. I can’t wait to share them at our Tasting Windows in Toronto and Vancouver.”

The window in Toronto will feature the following three-bite flight:

Thai Coconut & Pineapple Dip served on Tostitos Restaurant Style tortilla chips
Bacon Caesar Dip served on Tostitos Scoops! tortilla chips
Miso Ginger Tofu with Sweet Pickle Dip on Tostitos Rounds tortilla chips

The window will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
