A popular espresso bar is expanding by opening locations outside of Toronto for the first time ever.

Dark Horse Espresso Bar has origins in Toronto that extend back to 2006. They now have 10 locations in Toronto, and have evolved into a specialty cafe with market and bottle shop elements.

In addition to hot, cold and seasonal coffee and tea drinks, Dark Horse also offers food like cookies, pastries, scones, loaves, muffins, bread from local bakery Dear Grain and sandwiches.

Their Toronto locations can be found on Queen East, Spadina, Richmond, Geary, Queens Quay East, St. Clair, and in Manulife Centre, One York, the Canary District and OCAD University.

Now, Dark Horse has opened their first ever locations outside Toronto in Newmarket and Hamilton. The Hamilton location replaced the Starbucks that used to be inside an Indigo bookstore in Stoney Creek, and the Newmarket location is also in an Indigo.

Dark Horse is now open at 17440 Yonge St. in Newmarket, and at 1783 Stone Church Rd. E. in Hamilton.
