Popular grocery store chain hiring managers for new Burlington location

First scheduled for 2023, Burlington will still have to wait a while for a second Farm Boy location to open.

Once it does open its doors, the grocery store that prides itself on the freshest produce available at the best value, will be located just east of Burlington Centre, 3230 Fairview St.

The other Farm Boy location in Milton is at the corner of Walker’s Line and Dundas St. and opened in 2019.

One good sign that the new opening isn’t too far away are more than half-a-dozen advertised openings for management-level positions, including in the meat, produce, kitchen, bakery and administration departments.

The new location was first announced about a year ago.

Farm Boy is a Canadian grocer that started in Cornwall in 1981, a modest 300 sq.-ft. produce store.
