Recent signs indicate that a beloved Brampton restaurant may soon rise from the ashes.
Pho Peter; a cherished spot for foodies and Friday night take-out aficionados alike, tragically burned down about two years ago, and ever since, people in the region have been wondering when this neighborhood touchstone will make its triumphant return.
The initial fire, which occurred in December 2022, resulted in Pho Peter’s more or less permanent closure, as the extent of the fire damage was too severe for any short-term remedy.
According to online activity, regional sleuths have been keeping track of Pho Peter’s steady return to form, as earlier this month, images were posted to Brampton’s community Reddit page showing a recently repaired location looking ready for a reopening.
According to their website; Pho Peter provides a wide range of Vietnamese cuisine, including numerous varieties of noodle soup, known as Pho. On top of its initial namesake, the restaurant has a stockpile of appetizers, rice dishes and vegetarian options.
No official word has been released on when Pho Peter will officially reopen, however, most signs indicate that it will likely be very soon. So those who have been missing what one Reddit user described as “the best Vietnamese food in the GTA,” won’t have to wait long.
