Restaurant closings in Toronto for the week of March 15 to 22

It’s always sad to see restaurants close in Toronto, and these restaurants that have shut down recently will be sorely missed in their communities. A French restaurant shut down after almost 10 years in business, and a Michelin-level restaurant for plant-based Mexican cuisine also closed its doors.
Here are closings from this week in Toronto.
This French restaurant that was a central part of its neighbourhood closed down around the middle of the month. They had been in business for nearly 10 years, which operators called “a lifetime for a restaurant” in a farewell post on social media, writing “We are so proud of this little gem. She served us well and it was our pleasure to serve you.”

This plant-based Mexican restaurant was known as one of the best in Toronto with Michelin recognition, but in the middle of March the time came for them to close their doors. Their imaginative dishes centred around Mexican tradition and ingredients are hard to let go.
