A restaurant mini chain that had dwindled down to one location has now announced they’re reopening in their original spot.

Calii Love is a source for healthy poke bowls packed with wholesome ingredients. They drew lineups when they first opened on King West, but that was one of multiple locations of theirs that eventually shut down.

The restaurant chain was still fighting with one location open in the PATH, but now that King West location is reopening its doors once again.

“After some time away, we’re beyond excited to reopen our doors,” reads a post from Calii Love on social media.

“Calii Love is returning to where it all began, bringing you the same love, fresh vibes, and feel-good food you’ve always loved—now better than ever.”

The post has received over 200 likes and a couple dozen comments on Instagram, with many people commenting on what great news the reopening is and how much they missed the King West location.

“Calii Love has been under new ownership from 2022. We were able to strike a lease again with our flagship location and are stoked to be back in King West,” Nirmal Patel, one of the owners with the new organization, tells YourCityWithIN.com. He also says the building changed landlords.

“Previously, the location was going to be redeveloped therefore Calii Love had to end their lease. As for the Calii Love ownership change, it was due to organizational changes with the previous organization during Covid. The new ownership group was already partners with the Calii Love brand through a franchising model from a couple of years back.”

The King West location of Calii Love is having a grand reopening celebration on Jan. 11 with free lattes and refreshments, a BOGO deal on bowls, and the chance to win a $250 gift card.

Calii Love has now reopened at 367 King St. W.
