A store selling viral candied fruit skewers has just opened their second Toronto location.

Tanghulu Tanghulu opened with a splash on Queen West in the spring, and now they’ve already opened their second spot in Toronto. They’ve gone viral for their tanghulu, a kind of candied fruit skewer, as well as other hype-worthy treats like cups of strawberries smothered in melted chocolate.

Skewer options include fruits and berries like grapes, tangerine and strawberries, and their “coco cups” consist of melted 100 per cent Belgian chocolate drizzled over fresh strawberries. They’ve also added matcha coco cups to their lineup recently.

“At Tanghulu Tanghulu, we offer a unique dessert experience. Captivating customers with its fresh fruit coated in a crispy sugar shell,” reads the store’s website.

“Positioned at the beginning phase of a dessert trend similar to the bubble tea era, Tanghulu Tanghulu has the potential to revolutionize dessert shops worldwide. Utilizing a strong online brand presence with over 1 million+ impressions on social media, as well as professional customer service, Tanghulu Tanghulu is bringing its unique dessert experience worldwide.”

Now, Tanghulu Tanghulu is adding that unique dessert experience to a food hall that already has every kind of food you could ever want and more. The shop has joined the large roster of widely varying cuisines available at Wellington Market at The Well.

But that’s not all: Tanghulu Tanghulu has been on a tear lately, and just opened up a Square One location this month in rapid succession after opening at The Well.

Tanghulu Tanghulu is now open at Wellington Market inside The Well at 486 Front St. W.
