Simons is opening locations at major malls in Toronto

Popular Canadian fashion chain Simons has just announced they’re officially opening locations at two of Toronto’s biggest malls.

The brand is known for their accessible fashion for men and women, and they also have a homewares department. The store’s history extends all the way back to 1840.

“We are expanding with two new urban stores in Toronto at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre and the CF Toronto Eaton Centre,” reads a recent social media post from Simons.

The post has thousands of likes and hundreds of comments, with lots of people excited to see the brand opening in Toronto. The chain already has Simons stores at Square One and in Ottawa. Of course, there are many locations in Quebec, and Simons also has locations in Alberta, British Columbia and Nova Scotia.

Now that Nordstrom has left Canada, space has opened up at major shopping centres for Simons to enter Toronto.

Retail Insider reports that the Eaton Centre Simons store will measure around 110,000 square feet over three levels, the Yorkdale store will measure around 118,000 square feet, and both will showcase local art and architectural design.

Simons is opening at the Eaton Centre and Yorkdale around fall or winter 2025.
