Some of the toughest restaurant reservations to get in Canada are in Toronto

Reservations at Toronto restaurants aren’t always easy to get, but there are some places where it’s especially tough to book a table.

By looking at online reviews, restaurant booking experts at company Dojo have determined the toughest reservations to get across the country. While most are in Vancouver with a couple in Montreal and one very exclusive spot in New Brunswick, a couple Toronto restaurants have the distinction of being the hardest to get into in Canada.

Alo took the number three spot on a list of the best restaurants in Canada that are the hardest to get into, with a rating of 4.6 stars and a wait time of around two months. Edulis took the next spot with a rating of 4.7 stars, but closer to one month wait time.

Originally opened in July 2015, Alo serves French-influenced tasting menus. It’s recommended that you book reservations two months in advance, and the restaurant has thousands of five-star reviews.

Edulis serves seafood tasting menus, and is tucked away on sleepy Niagara just off King West.

Rossmount Inn in New Brunswick was awarded the distinction of being the most exclusive restaurant in Canada. The menu changes daily and it’s recommended you book reservations two or three months in advance.
