Starbucks summer drink inspired by boba tea hits Ontario

The beverage specialists at Starbucks are known for their innovations well beyond coffee, as numerous varieties of their cold and hot drinks break the mold in terms of refreshment each year. Now, the company has revealed its new Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers and the drinks look a lot like your typical fruity bubble tea.
Taking inspiration from boba tea, these chilled beverages feature flavoured pearls that float near the bottom of the beverage.

According to the official Starbucks website, raspberry is the set flavour for the pearls, as it complements the overall beverage, which is infused with blueberries and blackberries. However, certain modifications can be made to the beverage, such as adding lemonade and coconut milk.
The refreshers have made their official debut in Canada on May 7.
However, according to information provided by Starbucks, they will only be offered for a limited time.
