Successful barbecue restaurant that closed just reopened in Brampton

A successful Toronto barbecue restaurant that shut down is now reopening in a new physical space all their own in Brampton.
Biggs Ribs started out as a sell-out pop-up by a man who was laid off during lockdowns. From there, they grew into a space at Etobicoke Eats.
Sadly, Toronto wasn’t meant to easily access that delicious barbecue forever, as the Etobicoke Eats operation shut down this spring on April 30.
They continued to do pop-ups in Toronto over the course of the summer at events such as Pedestrian Sunday in Kensington Market. Otherwise, Biggs has remained relatively quiet since the spring.

Now, they’ve finally broken that silence to announce the opening of their brand new spot in Brampton. A post announcing the reopening has nearly 2,000 likes and over 350 comments on Instagram.
“We’re officially RE-opening at our BRAND NEW location in beautiful Brampton,” reads the post.
“A massive THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible – your love and support mean the world to us. We’re stepping into the next chapter, and we can’t wait to share it with YOU. Here’s to the next step of our journey.”
The restaurant is known for their marinated slow-cooked beef back ribs with a signature honey barbecue sauce. They also do short ribs and wings, plus sides like baked loaded fries, mac n’ cheese and cornbread.
Biggs Ribs at 12 Bram Court in Brampton is now open.
