Best-selling author Candace Bushnell certainly has tales to tell and she will be doing just that when she appears at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre (BPAC) on Apri 5. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Those familiar with the popular television series have become accustomed to dating life in the Big Apple as seen through the lens of the fictional Carrie Bradshaw. but as the real protagonist Bushnell has carved out a long career spilling on relationships and a never-ending quest to find the perfect pair of shoes.

Writing her Sex and the City column in the New York Observer in the early 90s, her work was compiled into a book and eventually turned into the long-running television series that starred Sarah Jessica Parker as Bushnell.

Following the success of Sex and the City Bushnell continued her best-selling ways with Four BlondesTrading UpLipstick Jungle and One Fifth Avenue.

For her date in Burlington, Bushnell will be performing her new one-woman show and taking the audience on a whirlwind tour of New York City, from Studio 54 to the Lipstick Jungle and beyond, sharing her remarkable stories of fashion, literature and sex.
