One Toronto restaurant is having a festival celebrating all things pie this month.
Pie-toberfest at Rabbit Hole is loosely modeled after Summerlicious or Winterlicious events, with two multi-course menus offered at special prices.
And of course, both menus will highlight pie.
There’s a two-course prix fixe menu for $38, and a three-course prix fixe menu available for $45.

Options for starters are squash soup with a pumpkin seed granola and maple cream, or a roasted beetroot salad. For desserts, there’s the option of a sticky toffee pudding or a chocolate pot with sour cherries, Chantilly cream and espresso crumble.
As for the main event, pies you can choose from for your main course include steak and mushroom, a chicken pot pie, a scallop and bacon pie or a vegetable pithivier.
And if you still haven’t picked up a turkey yet and feel like digging into a fall favourite other than pie, Rabbit Hole is also doing a Thanskgiving dinner special on Oct. 11 and 12 starting at 4 p.m. Their turkey dinner meal includes white and dark meat, stuffing, mashed spuds, brussels sprouts, glazed carrots, deep turkey gravy, and cranberry sauce for $35.
Pie-toberfest is going on all month long until Nov. 2.
