February 28

Burlington: 

The Northern Pikes & Grapes of Wrath

The Northern Pikes revisit their best-loved tracks from Snow in June, while Grapes of Wrath bring their 60s-inspired pop-rock sound with hits like All The Things I Wasn’t and Peace of Mind.

Alice in Bloomland

Tumble down the rabbit hole and experience the magical Alice in Bloomland at the Royal Botanical Gardens. Inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, wander through breathtaking floral displays that feel like stepping into a dreamland. The showcase also features Of Wonders, Wild and New, a textile-based art exhibit produced by Cobalt Connects.

When: This is a timed exhibit with various time slots available.
Cost: Off-peak admission is $19.50 for adults, $16.50 for seniors (65+), $16.50 for students (13-17 or with valid student ID), and $11.50 for children (3-12). Peak-hour pricing is $24.50 for adults, $21.50 for seniors and students, and $16.50 for children. Infants and toddlers (0-2) can enter for free with registration, while RBG members receive free admission during off-peak times and pay $5 during peak hours.


Milton:

Track Provincials Milton

Ontario Cycling presents the 2025 Track Provincials at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre. Over three days, athletes will compete in a variety of track cycling events, including sprints, individual pursuits and team races. Spectators can watch for free and cheer on competitors at Canada’s only velodrome of its kind.

Mom & Tots

Calling all moms of little ones! Join Moms Friday Morning Drop-In for a chance to connect with other moms, build friendships, and share life together while your little ones play. This casual drop-in allows you to come and go as needed.

Chocolate Tea Pairing Workshop

Learn how to pair different teas and chocolates, expand your palate, and create your own pairings at home. Participants will enjoy three custom pairings of locally made bonbons with three unique loose-leaf teas and a tasting wheel.

Oakville:

Taste of Oakville 2025 (Feb. 17 to March 10)

Savour the best of Oakville with prix-fixe menus from local restaurants and live music performances.

March 1

Burlington: 

Maple Syrup Festival

Experience a springtime tradition at the Maple Syrup Festival. Take a guided tour of Maple Lane, watch fresh maple sugar or taffy being poured, and enjoy farm animals and live music at the Maple Show. Hop on a wagon ride to the pancake house for a meal served with fresh maple syrup. A daily vehicle permit is required and can be purchased up to five days in advance.

Maple Town at Mountsberg

Learn all about tree tapping, sap collection, and syrup making at Maple Town. Explore the history of syrup production, sample maple sugar and syrup and enjoy maple taffy on snow. Kids can complete fun challenges to earn a Sugar Rangers certificate. Visit the animal barn, Raptor Centre and natural playground or add on experiences like a horse-drawn wagon ride or a maple sugar-making workshop.

Sweet Water at Crawford Lake

Discover the Indigenous origins and modern practices of maple sugaring at Sweet Water. Visit the First Harvest: Celebrating Sweet Water exhibit in a 15th-century Longhouse Village, join a guided maple and birch syrup tasting and watch a Sweet Water demonstration by the fire. Enjoy maple taffy on snow and activities for kids.

Milton:

Taste of Downtown Milton

A celebration of local cuisine featuring prix-fixe menus at participating restaurants. Enjoy a variety of flavours, from international dishes to local favourites, at special prices.

1st Annual Milton Women’s Show 2025

Enjoy the ultimate girls’ day out at the 1st Annual Milton Women’s Show! Connect with inspiring women, explore new products and services and participate in exciting workshops and activities.

Oakville:

Glowing See-saw ride

Experience a reimagined childhood see-saw that immerses you in the sensations of surging water. As you ride, glowing liquid responds to movement, creating a living, interactive experience.

Native Wildflowers Seedball Workshop

Join Oakvillegreen for a hands-on workshop to learn about native plants and how to increase local biodiversity. Participants will create seedballs to help grow wildflowers and support pollinators in the community.

March 2

Burlington: 

The 44th Annual Music Hall

A lively, comedic variety musical celebrating 50 years of musical theatre. Expect medleys, feature songs, skits and specialty numbers highlighting productions from the past five decades.

2025 Chilly Half Marathon

This fast, flat and certified course takes runners through Burlington’s scenic downtown and waterfront. Part of the proceeds will benefit Joseph Brant Hospital and Hamilton Food Share. Participants will receive a running vest in their choice of black, navy, or white.

Milton:

Stitches – The Art of Sybil Rampen

Explore over 80 pieces of fibre art by Sybil Rampen, created between 1973 and 2024. This exhibition features wall hangings, sculptures and vestments made with techniques like hand embroidery, machine stitching and collage, often incorporating natural materials.

Oakville:

Oscars Watch Party

Join the Oscars Watch Party as Film.Ca Cinemas rolls out the red carpet for the 97th Academy Awards. Come dressed up or dressed down, snap a pic on the red carpet, and enjoy trivia and prizes during commercial breaks. All of the proceeds support the Entertainment Community Fund.

Vivienne Mort  Canadian Candlelight Tour

For the first time in Canada, Vivienne Mort embarks on a candlelight tour, bringing their signature piano-driven sound and evocative vocals to audiences. The Ukrainian independent band, known for its deep existential themes and award-winning albums, presents an intimate concert experience. A charity auction and autograph session will follow the performance, with proceeds supporting vehicle purchases for the Ukrainian military.
