If you spent most of the holidays cozied up indoors and are now itching to get out, Burlington, Milton and Oakville have plenty of events on tap. From crafty workshops to historical tours and rocking tribute concerts, there’s no shortage of ways to make the most of the last few days of winter break.

Here’s what’s going on from Jan. 3 to 5:


January 3

Burlington: 

Winter Break Kids Camp

Engage your children in a day of fun and learning at the Winter Break Kids Camp. Designed for ages 5–12, the camp includes a variety of activities to inspire and entertain young minds.

Abbamania

Experience the world’s number one Abba production, Abbamania. This all-Canadian cast, featuring studio musicians and singers, has been performing note-for-note recreations of Abba’s greatest hits like “Waterloo” and “Dancing Queen” since 1999. With their authentic look and sound, Abbamania delivers an unforgettable live concert experience.

Preschool Dance Party

Oakville Museum | Winter Craft and Tour

Create a special craft with your child and enjoy a guided tour of the Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate. This engaging activity is designed for children ages 4–5, with the program fee applying to participating children only. Adult supervision and assistance are required.

Warm your spirits this holiday season with art! The Fine Arts Society of Milton presents Celebrate the Season, an annual member exhibition showcasing inspiring works from talented local artists.

The Three Sisters Exhibit

Victorian Christmas at Bronte Creek Provincial Park

Refuge Canada Exhibition

Explore Canada’s role in the global refugee crisis through the powerful “Refuge Canada” exhibition. Featuring images, soundscapes, first-person accounts, and artifacts, this thought-provoking exhibit begins with the sentiment: “No one wants to be a refugee, anyone could become a refugee.”

Stitches – The Art of Sybil Rampen
