The weekend is almost here, and there’s plenty going on in Hamilton. From rock concerts and hands-on workshops to culinary experiences and art exhibits, there’s something for everyone. Plus, it’s the final weekend to enjoy maple syrup season before it wraps up. Here’s what’s happening from March 21 to March 23:
March 21
Martha Wainwright – 20th Anniversary Tour
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of her debut studio album, Martha Wainwright embarks on a North American tour, performing songs that defined her career. Fans can also purchase the album’s first-ever vinyl release and exclusive anniversary merchandise. Joining her on tour is Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Haley Blais, known for her introspective, witty indie pop.

Helen McNicoll: An Impressionist Journey

Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra – Pictures at an Exhibition
The performance features Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite alongside Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, taking audiences on a musical journey through a gallery of paintings.

Cancer Bats concert with special guests
With 17 years in the heavy music scene, Cancer Bats have built a reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the industry. Boasting seven studio albums, five JUNO Award nominations, and countless tours worldwide, their blend of hardcore, punk and metal continues to dominate stages. Joining them are special guests TEETH, a hardcore/metal trio featuring members of Dead and Divine, Every Time I Die, Norma Jean, and Straight Reads The Line.

Midnight Rider – In Honour of Dylan Matthews

Maple Syrup Season at Westfield Heritage Village (Feb. 23 to March 23)
