Sam Norton

The Pickering-Ajax Science Fair, hosted by Pickering Public Library and Ajax Public Library, invites students from Grades 3-12 to present their science projects to a panel of judges. Participants will compete in four categories: Primary, Junior, Intermediate and Senior, with three winners awarded in each category.

Red Dress Beaded Pin Workshop with Janet Dugan
Join Janet Dugan, founder of the Red Dress Pin Project and a proud member of Munsee Delaware FN (Leni Lenape) Wolf Clan, for a hands-on workshop exploring the healing craft of beading. Participants will choose their design, bead colours and backing while learning embroidery techniques to create their own pins. This is a two-part workshop.
