There are lots of things to do in Toronto as September continues, and just because summer is coming to an end, don’t think that means there are any fewer street festivals to enjoy. Multiple neighbourhoods are closing off streets this weekend for community celebrations.


September 13

TIFF

This huge film festival that takes over the city every year is wrapping up this weekend, but there’s still lots happening, including the TIFF People’s Choice Award Free Screenings on the fest’s last day.

Cineplex Community Day

Support your community and see free movies for this day put on by Cineplex at theatres, Rec Room locations and Playdium locations. You can also enjoy free gaming and theatre arcade games on this day.

Toronto Ukrainian Festival

Millions of people typically attend this celebration of Ukrainian culture with contemporary and folk performances, lots of traditional food and a huge parade.

A big celebration on Saturday at Nathan Phillips Square with tons of food vendors and performers will be sandwiched between two days of events at restaurant El Sazon for this event surrounding Mexican Independence Day.

Supermarket Series
