A top cookie shop has just opened their newest location in Toronto.
Night Baker is known for their puffy, chewy cookies with all kinds of inventive flavours, including ones with nods to traditional Asian ingredients like ube and pandan.
They already have locations at 405 Danforth Ave. and 825 College St., and now, the cookie powerhouse has opened their third location.
Night Baker has been posting updates on their social media showing their progress with putting the new location together, and last week they posted a message thanking everyone who came out to the opening.
“Opening a new store is always stressful. Since this was our 3rd one and in a smaller space, the inside renovation was easier since we already knew what we wanted. Leanne designed the entire store herself, from the layout, our new signage, all our custom lights and displays and even up to the heights and widths of all our custom counters,” reads the message.
“We didn’t really have time to promote our new store opening so we were a little anxious about how it would turn out. But when we opened WOW, we were blown away by the reception. We had such a warm welcome throughout the weekend for all 3 days, even with the rain on Sunday. It was much, much busier than the store openings of our other 2 locations and we really felt the love.”

The post also details how much of what needed to be done to open the third Night Baker had been completed earlier in the fall and they had planned to open last month, but it took longer than expected to get their business license.
They had been paying rent and supporting their team already, so when they finally received their business license recently, they opened just 24 hours after they passed their health inspection.
Night Baker is now open at 5361 Yonge St.
