The 2025 top romantic restaurant’s list has been revealed just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Restaurant reservation service, OpenTable, unveiled its list of Canada’s Top 100 Romantic Restaurants for 2025 and several Toronto and GTA restaurants made the cut.

The list is compiled from analyzing over 900,000 diner reviews, along with diner ratings, reservation demand and percentage of reviews with the tag “romantic” among other factors.

With Valentine’s Day falling on a Friday this year, many people are planning a night out.

“Nearly half of Canadians plan to dine out this Valentine’s Day, and as one of the biggest dining days in Canada in 2024, it shows that the way to Canadians’ hearts are through their stomachs,” says Matt Davis, country director for OpenTable Canada.
