‘Swifties’ rejoice! The City of Toronto has officially launched its street sign campaign to welcome international superstar Taylor Swift.
In an official post to X (formerly Twitter), Toronto officials debuted the newly minted “Taylor Swift Way,” scheduled to line the traffic route from Nathan Phillips Square to Rogers Centre.
This officially sanctioned act of pure dedication on the city’s part does have a purpose, as Taylor Swift is scheduled to perform six sold-out shows at Rogers Centre on Nov. 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 as part of her Eras Tour.
✨ “We had a blank space” and wrote her name… on street signs! ✨
We’re getting ready to welcome @TaylorSwift13 to Toronto & today we unveiled Taylor Swift Way to show how excited we are for her visit.

Earlier this year Toronto City Council members approved the temporary renaming incentive, and on Nov. 1, Mayor Olivia Chow gave the official green light to change street signage to honour the upcoming visit from the global musical powerhouse.
