Yoga, puppies and kids are coming together for a super cute series of events in Toronto.

Yoga Kawa is putting on an event series at outdoor event space Stackt that combines gentle stretching with cuddles and kisses with puppies. And the best part is, you don’t have to find a sitter to attend.

The events at Stackt will encompass 35 minutes of stretching followed by 20 minutes of interacting with cute puppies and a five-minute sharing circle absorbing how the puppies make great buddies.

Families are welcome with children ages five and above. Take note that adults and children are expected to follow along with the yoga session and interact safely with the puppies. The event requires a 1:1 ratio for children under seven and 1:4 for children seven and above.

“Puppy yoga classes provide a unique and enjoyable way to improve mental health. The presence of adorable puppies roaming from one yoga mat to the next, cuddling with participants, and playing with other puppies creates a calming atmosphere that helps to reduce stress and anxiety,” reads the event description.

“Not only do puppy yoga classes help people relax, but they also offer many other benefits such as increased physical activity, improved socialization skills, and increased self-confidence.”

Yoga Kawa does puppy yoga all over and around Toronto, with events in Markham, Vaughan and Hamilton.

Tickets for the Stackt events are $48, and family-friendly puppy yoga is taking place at Stackt on Sept. 25 and 26 with sessions at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

If you’re not able to make it out to the Stackt events, you can check out Yoga Kawa for other events they’re putting on, many of which are family friendly.
